Amanda and I are back at it. We’re giving you looks for Fall in this one. Target came through in a major way. I’ve been somewhat obsessed with Target since the 20 Years of Design drop. Target’s A New Day collection is giving me so much life right now. I’m a sucker for beaming ambers, rusty reds and burnt oranges and they did not disappoint. When I saw this blouse I knew I had to create a look with it as the centerpiece. It’s has a very subtle leopard print and I’m here for ALL things animal print.
While the blouse was a total winner for me, not so much for Amanda. But we made it twerk for the shoot. It was a fit and fabric issue. The sleeves were a bit narrow and the fabric wasn’t breathable. Sweat marks were visible within a few minutes of her wearing it. It wasn’t exactly hot that morning either; in fact it was freezing. It should be noted it’s a polyester blend. Imagine wearing this to work and upon your arrival you have unsightly sweat marks under your pits. Not sexy ladies!!! An innocent design flaw I’m sure, but if any of you decide to purchase the top, buyer beware. I did not have the sweat issue. I don’t sweat a lot in general.
The best part of having my own platform is the ability to feature some of the most interesting and dynamic people I know. Say hello to one of the most interesting people in my world, my sister, Shana Eutsay. Shana is one of my baby sisters. I have six sisters in total. Yeah it’s as fun as that sounds.
All of my sisters are so unique and interesting I can’t wait for you all to get to know them. They all have their own distinct look, style, and sense of fashion. The one thing we all share is beauty (inside and out) and BRAINS!! Shana may have the franchise in the brains department; at a minimum the fortitude it takes to pursue a doctorate degree.
We all study in fab outfits right?!
Always searching for Enlightenment
Yes ya’ll, we’ll have a doctor in the family pretty soon!
I’m not calling her Dr. Eutsay we’ve established this in advance…lol Ok maybe once just so I don’t seem like a total hater. In all seriousness Shana is one of the most determined, intelligent, compassionate, and loving humans I know. She’s a certified goofball, always the life of the party. But she is as committed as a general to her ministry, family, friends and education.
It’s simple they are the chicest, most stylish, affordable arm candy on the market, PERIOD! Since you’re here, I’m guessing you value my opinion so trust me when I say you can’t go wrong picking up a set of these beautiful beaded bracelets.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month aka Pink-tober, Ocessories is honoring all the warriors who are fighting the fight against breast cancer with a special set of bracelets; the Owareness set. Om is all in y’all! She dyed her hair PINK; now that’s what I call committment!!! Get yours today!!! Let’s kick cancer’s butt!!!
I am also thrilled to share the Q&A between me and my girl, Omenisia Evans; owner of Ocessories. Omenisia and I have been friends since high school. Om (what her franns call her), is THEE definition of a M.I.L.F (Mom I’d Like To Follow). She is an educator, published author, boss babe, girl ceo; she is every word that describes a visionary entrepreneur. Needless to say I’m a big fan and cheerleader. I’m beyond excited to share this with you all. Without further ado, let’s get into this Q&A.
I was beyond excited to stumble upon Target’s 20 Years of Design for All collection. Boy oh boy did I stumble. Much to my chagrin I almost missed it. My dear sweet co-worker Jessica had to inform me Target was even doing this; totally almost missed this. And what exactly did they do, you ask?!
Ok, so, do you guys remember when Target started doing collaborations with high-end designers like Isaac Mizrahi, Tracy Reese, Marchesa Notte, Leila Rose and Jason Wu (just to name a few)?! Here’s a little trip down memory lane if you’re out of the loop.
Target 20 Years of Design for All
This time around Target decided to celebrate their collaborative genius in a collection dubbed 20 Years of Design for All. The collection includes exclusive pieces from some of your favorite “high-end” designers.
